Bought a plate loaded lat pull down…

Bought a plate loaded lat pull down from them recently. Arrived in a broken box. Put it together and found multiple damaged pulleys. Emailed their support team and was blown off by their product specialists for over a week before I called.
When I spoke with their support team over the phone, they told me to go to a hardware store and buy replacement pulleys. Then they suggested it’ll be a month before they would have another system to send me. I already had the equipment entirely built. They told me to take apart the pulleys off the new system when it arrives and mail them back the rest of the equipment. Honestly one of the craziest suggestions I’ve ever been given. They told me to call back in a couple weeks to see if they had a replacement equipment to send me. Why is it my job to fix their product.
After spending $400+ I expected better quality and service. I do not recommend anyone dealing with this. While the equipment appears pretty solid, I cannot do anything with it without those pulleys.

What happened to putting the customer first?

We were super excited to add the Series 2 power rack to our home gym, we received our shipment very quickly. However, after unpacking the entire rack, we noticed that the hardware to put it together was missing. No big deal, contacted customer service assuming they would overnight the MISSING parts. Wrong. Instead they tell me the parts have to be hand picked and that it could take up to 10 business days! This was on 3/22. I received an email providing a shipment link the very same day and was so excited. Wrong again! Went back to check the link today (3/25) and it says the same thing it did on 3/22. Hasn’t even made it to USPS yet. Needless to say we are beyond frustrated and the customer service is trash! So I guess we will stare at the multiple pieces of metal laying in our garage until they decide to actually ship the **MISSING** hardware!

Caveat Emptor

This company knows absolute zip about customer service and they package their crummy products poorly. My wife ordered a fly machine for $475 (for my birthday) and it basically came destroyed: parts missing, damaged, etc. it looked like they had thrown (almost) everything in a wimpy cardboard box, crossed their fingers, and prayed for the best. The return process involved me using three roles of packing tape to put back together all of their crap in a destroyed box. Of course, at this point, I haven’t yet received a refund. I’ll never buy anything from this shoddy company again and I encourage others to really think hard about doing business with a company that could clearly care less about their customers.

Disappointment

I just don't understand. How do you lose multiple products, offer to refund them, then decline the refund without warning the customer? Sure, the product finally arrived a month late. How would I know if nothing updates and my emails don't get any decent responses? A warning to everyone, don't buy anything more than maybe the plates from this company. They will lose your products, and if they don't lose it, FedEx will do it for them.

Crooks and Con-Artists

I've bought a lot of equipment from Titan. Lately, it's gone downhill. On January 7 I ordered an EZ Curl bar, a leg extension/curl machine, and a shoulder press and deltoid raise machine.
EZ curl arrive broken. The bushings were knocked out of the sleeves. They said they'd send a replacement but it was backordered. The following day I received the shoulder press machine. It arrived missing a bushing in the press joint, so the arms can't be assembled. It was also missing the back rest cushion AND both arm cushions. Explain to me how this happens? The box arrived completely tattered and taped together, like someone else had returned it. Immediately contacted titan and forwarded pictures. They told me to return it, but I have to pay return shipping and buy my own box. This is an oversized machine that weighs 150 lbs. A box that size costs $100. The freight charge is at least as much. Not happening. I asked them to send the parts. They are backordered for months. I asked them to send a new machine, so I can mail this one back in the replacement box and have a functioning piece of equipment. They went radio silent.
After several more unanswered email attempts to resolve this disaster, I have now initiated a chargeback with my bank for the cost of the machine. I canceled the leg extension machine. So hopefully I actually get my refund. These thieves have $525 of my money for an unusable hunk of metal waste. They just lost at least $3500 worth of immediate business on the leg extension i had already purchased and the functional trainer that I was ready to check out with in my cart. Who knows how much future business they just flushed down the toilet.
Like others here, I left a negative review for the press on their website which was almost immediately removed by Titan. These people are crooks and con-artists. Buy at your own peril.

Cancelled without consulting

I ordered an item "in stock" on 12/29. Called yesterday (1/12) and was told to try waiting a little longer due to part 1 of 2 being out of stock (but they had part 2 of 2), which I was okay with waiting. Woke up this morning to my order being cancelled completely without consulting me first! Not cool at all! Now, I no longer have "a place in line" for my order. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth with Titan Fitness. Now I have to watch the website in hopes of catching it when it's back in stock and place an order before others get to it. But...then again the same thing could happen where my order gets cancelled without consulting. I don't think I want to take that risk! NOT. COOL.

A company that’s not about the customer

Two separate orders with problems with the original delivered items. First one was “misplaced” according to them (how you misplace a 45lb barbell is beyond me) and was told they’d ship out another once it was available. Second order was a plyometric box in which the hardware wasn’t sent so that it could be assembled. Once I inquired about this, I was told they ship it out immediately. It’s been over 2 weeks and still no hardware. When I called again to speak to supervisor, I was told they would call me back within 24-48 hours; which is unacceptable to me. Still working on getting it overnighted to me so that it can be assembled for Christmas (although it was originally a birthday gift)

Olympic Bar

Ordered a 45lb bar from Titan, received 2 months later and it was defected. Quality control was horrible. Have you noticed the reviews on their items were all 5 stars? That’s because they pick and choose the good one and not the negative reviews. It’s funny I also left my own review but was not posted. Save you money and go Rogue instead.

No transparency

I bought a barbell through the company, and I expected to receive it after a normal amount of time (2-3 weeks max). I ended up checking my order a week later because it hadn't shipped, and it said it was back ordered and it wasn't projected to ship for another 4 weeks. However, when I ordered it, there was no mention of a back order and it said it was fully in stock.
But no notification, no communication letting me know about the delay. I wrote to customer service, and they didn't even respond to my concern.
Don't trust their website!

Still no refund from Titan after 10…

Still no refund from Titan after 10 weeks, even after multiple emails and phone calls with Titan! Don't buy from Titan unless you fully intend on keeping the equipment, and pay extra close attention to the website product description. I recommend calling Titan before any purchase to clarify any questions. I purchased an X3 rack 24 inch extension, the assemble holes on the extension upright did not line up with the X3 rack. I then discovered after calling Titan this extensions kit is for the X3 bolt down only and not the X3 flatfoot. There are other companies to do business with, there goes all the saving from purchasing from Titan. Shop around!

Terrible Customer Service

First of all I've written two reviews on their website, both of which got deleted which is unbelievable. I bought a pull up bar from their website and when it arrived it had the brackets but NO pull up bar. So I assumed they would just send me a bar but instead they said sorry please return it and we'll refund you and that's it. Then they went on to say they couldn't replace it because they didn't have any in stock but their website showed the same pull up bar for sale!! Such crap, and horrible customer service that they wouldn't even send me a bar that they forgot to check the box before sending. I won't be buying from them again.
